Compass for Organisations
Administrators control Compass for everyone in the organisation from the Admin Panel at eunifyer.app/admin/compas .
You’ll need admin access to your organisation. If you don’t see the Admin menu, ask your organisation’s administrator.
Turn Compass On or Off
The Enabled switch is the master toggle for the whole organisation.
- On — everyone in your organisation with the right permission can use Compass.
- Off — nobody can open Compass. The button disappears from the navbar, the app grid, and the floating button.
Turning Compass off does not delete past conversations. They stay visible if you turn it on again later.
Choose Which Features Are Available
Each Compass feature can be enabled or disabled independently. Disabling a feature hides the related action from the UI for everyone in the organisation.
| Toggle | Affects |
|---|---|
| Mail compose | ”Draft with Compass” in the email composer |
| Document Q&A | ”Ask Compass” in the document editor sidebar |
| Meeting summary | Automatic summaries on meeting recordings |
| Chat assist | Suggested replies and rewrites in chat |
| Search | Compass-powered natural-language search |
| Inline assist | Quick rewrite/shorten/translate in editors |
Use this to roll Compass out gradually — for example, start with just Search and Mail compose for the first month, then enable the rest.
Limit Usage
The Maximum tokens per user per day field caps how much each user can ask Compass to do in a 24-hour window.
A token is roughly three quarters of a word. The default of 150 000 is enough for hundreds of replies and a few dozen long-document summaries per person per day. Lower it if you need stricter cost control; raise it for power users.
When a user hits the cap, Compass pauses for them until the next day and shows a friendly notice. Other users in the organisation are unaffected.
Who Can Use Compass
Use of Compass requires the Compass: Access permission. By default:
- Owners and Admins — full access (use, manage settings, query org-wide data).
- Members — can use Compass on their own data only.
Adjust this from Admin → Roles if you want to restrict access to a subset of users.
Provider Configuration
Choosing the AI provider (shared, your own OpenAI key, Azure, OVH, on-premise) is handled at the platform level by EUnifyer support. If you need to bring your own provider or run fully on-premise, contact your account manager.
