EUnifyer Desktop uses your organization’s single sign-on (SSO) — the same login you use for EUnifyer on the web. You never type a password into the app itself.

First sign-in

  1. Click the EUnifyer icon in the menu bar (macOS) or system tray (Windows/Linux) to open the app window.
  2. Click Sign in with EUnifyer.
  3. Your default web browser opens to your organization’s secure sign-in page. Log in as you normally would (including any company SSO, Google, or Microsoft login, and two-factor if enabled).
  4. After you approve, the browser hands you back to the app automatically and the window updates to show you’re signed in.

If your browser asks “Open EUnifyer?” after you sign in, click Allow / Open — that’s the browser returning you to the app.

Choose your sync folder

On first sign-in, EUnifyer sets up your synced folder and adds it to your file manager’s sidebar as EUnifyer Desktop — Your Name, alongside your other cloud-storage locations.

Where it lives behind the scenes depends on your platform:

PlatformLocation
macOS~/Library/CloudStorage/EUnifyer-<YourAccount> (in the Finder sidebar)
Windows%USERPROFILE%\EUnifyer (in the File Explorer navigation pane)
Linux~/EUnifyer (in your Files app sidebar)

You don’t need to manage this path directly — just use the sidebar entry.

Staying signed in

  • Your session is remembered securely — you stay signed in across restarts and reboots, so you normally sign in only once.
  • If your session eventually expires (for example, after a long time away or if an administrator revokes it), the app shows Continue as your email — click it to sign back in with one tap.
  • To switch accounts, choose Use a different account on the sign-in screen, or Sign out from Settings.

Multiple devices

You can run EUnifyer Desktop on as many of your computers as you like. Each one syncs the same Drive independently, so a change on one device shows up on the others within moments.
