Updates

Automatic updates

EUnifyer Desktop keeps itself up to date. It checks for new versions in the background, and when one is ready you’ll be notified to restart the app to apply it. Updates are signed, so you can install them with confidence.

You don’t need to do anything — just restart when prompted (or the next time you quit and reopen the app).

Update manually

You can update at any time without waiting for the prompt:

  1. Go to the download page .
  2. Download the latest version for your platform.
  3. Install it over your current version:
    • macOS — open the .dmg, drag EUnifyer onto Applications, and choose Replace when macOS asks.
    • Windows — run the .exe installer; it replaces the existing version in place.
    • Linux — reinstall the .deb/.rpm, or replace the .AppImage file with the new one.
  4. Reopen EUnifyer — your account and synced files are exactly as you left them.

Updating never affects your files: your sign-in and sync state are preserved, and nothing re-downloads unnecessarily.

Check your version

Open the EUnifyer tray icon → Settings to see the version you’re running. You can compare it against the latest on the releases page .

Release notes

Each release lists what’s new and fixed on the releases page . It’s worth a quick look after a big update.
